OPERATIONS
Arthroscopy
The reconstruction surgeries of the ACL, PCL are performed using arthroscopy (key-hole sized incisions) under direct view with an arthroscopic camera.
Robotic Assisted Surgery - Total Knee Replacement
Robotic Assisted Knee Replacement (RAS TKR) achieves better accuracy/ precision in the operation and gives more consistent results.
QUALIFICATIONS
Dr. Chan obtained his medical degree from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1999. He subsequently underwent specialist training in orthopaedics and was awarded his specialist degree (Masters of Orthopaedic Surgery) from the University of Malaya in 2008. Dr. Chan is registered as an orthopaedic surgeon in the National Specialist Register, Malaysia. In 2010, Dr. Chan did fellowship training in joint replacement & sports surgery at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. He also trained in knee cartilage repair surgery in Rosemont, Illinois, USA in the year 2012 (Arthroscopy Association of North America Master Course). In 2015, Dr Chan underwent training in hip arthroscopy in York, United Kingdom.
